
Meet the Team in 2019!
Golden Globe-nominated composer whose credits include horror films such as Drag Me to Hell, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser and Spiderman 3, for which he received the Film & TV Music Award for Best Score for a Dramatic Feature Film.

Conductor, composer, producer, percussionist, pianist and educator. A 35-year music industry veteran, Derek heads up the Summer Program. Derek will present classes and conduct all of the recording sessions.
Debbie Smith

Music producer, recording engineer, music editor and educator. Debbie works in the recording studios of Dublin, Sofia and Los Angeles with industry giants such as Denis Sands, Steve Dorff, Conrad Pope, and more. Debbie will lecture on the recording processes and engineer all the recording sessions.
Jan Grenner has an MA in film scoring and music education. He is the module leader on the "Fundamentals of Film Scoring" module for the "MA in Scoring for Film & Visual Media" program at Pulse College, Dublin, and is also an audio engineer, a pianist, and an opera singer. Jan will lecture on all things Film Music & tech, concentrating on Logic and Sibelius and how to apply them to film scoring. He will be available throughout the program for help and guidance.
Andy Hill is a thirty-year veteran of the film and television music industry, former vice-president of music production for Walt Disney Studios, Grammy Award-winning music supervisor, founder of the MFA program in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College Chicago, and author of Scoring The Screen: The Secret Language Of Film Music (Hal Leonard, June 2017). Films for which he served as executive in charge of music production have earned nine Academy Awards in music categories. Projects for which Andy served as music supervisor include Ed Wood and Message In A Bottle.

Christo Pavlov
Arranger, orchestrator, conductor, music producer and score supervisor. Christo is professor at the National Music Academy (Sofia, Bulgaria) and Director and Conductor at Philharmonia Bulgaria. Christo will present classes and serve as scoring supervisor/music producer for the recording sessions.
Jeremy is an award-winning composer, including prizes at the Transatlantyk, Oticons and Marvin Hamlisch film music competitions. His orchestrations have been performed by A-league orchestras all over the world, including the Nashville and Atlanta Symphony Orchestras, the Philadelphia and Boston Pops, as well as the Thailand Philharmonic and Bulgaria National Radio Symphony Orchestra. Jeremy holds a Masters in Film Scoring, a Masters in Conducting, a Bachelors in Music Education, and will lead the mockups workshop.
Conductor, clinician and educator. Malcolm has conducted orchestras, led festivals and presented Master classes across Europe, Asia, and Australia. He is Music Director of the Irish Chamber Ensemble, Associate Conductor of the Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra, Ireland, and Juror, Wiener Musikseminar, Vienna. He will present classes in the Fundamentals of Orchestral Conducting.
Wilhelm von Dungan
Brendan Hayes

Video production. Brendan will film, direct and capture all aspects of the program. This will include studio recordings, and personal interviews. All video footage will be made available to each participant on completion of the program.

Arranger, orchestrator, conductor, and music producer. Wilhelm holds several degrees in music education, composition, conducting, audio tech. and has an MA in music for Media. Wilhem served 3 years as the assistant conductor of the prestigious "Junge Europa Philharmonie."
Natasha Uzunova

Administration and translation. Natasha will look after any general issues regarding admin and any translation requirements.

Dimiter Fournadgiev
Mitko is our resident Pianist. Early Film Cue Compositions during the first week of the Film Scoring Summer Program
are for piano, and Mitko will bring them to life in his own splendid way!
